Has always had a dream of becoming either a football player in the NFL, or, Owning his own restaurant ! He was taught at a very young age how to cook in the kitchen by his grandmother and auntie/mother , Ms. Betty Counts, who recently went home to heaven , R.I.P., and also whom he respected and loved, like a mother !
His meek attitude and studious disposition is nothing to be taken lightly! He's very smart, ambitious, and has a very caring heart about a lot of things in this world ! However , his passion to be a chef leaves nothing to be assumed as far as his experience goes !
He went to the School Of The Arts in New York, NY, where he studied cooking ! He also did a 1 year internship with his mentor , Chef Puck at The Tavern On The Green, Restaurant in New York , Ny ! He did 4 years cooking at the Marriot Airport Hotel in Greensboro , NC ! Also, in Greensboro , NC, he worked at , K&W - Catering friendly Shopping Center , and O'Charleys ! His talents ventured out, from a few places in Burlington, NC, AS A COOK ! But he feels like he really started to get into his niche when he worked at Munchie's Jamaican & Carribean Foods , in Greenville, NC, where he served hot lunch and dinner to go plates ! They enjoyed his personal touch ! The customers ! Moving on up to Virginia Beach , VA, in 2013, was the icing on the cake ! He was invited and introduced under the wing of Chef Joseph Barrett 3rd, and from there he learned and grew and came into his own under the Executive Chef Pasquale Acese , and Chef Charles Brisett ! Holiday Inn North Beach had more than 1 restaurant within and he was able to develop his craft at them all ! The Whale ( traditional american food), The Isle Of Capri,( Italian food)
There was a 3 year experience there and because they loved his efforts there , he can always go back there to work ! NOW !! He's venturing out with his own brand and i hope you will get to know him and also, get to rub your tummy over some of his tasty dishes !!
